Back on IRC baby. This time with the bouncer.

Honestly I'm not surprised that IRC is not popular given you need to run bouncer to have reasonable experience.

However, with good bouncer (soju) and a client that supports bouncers - it works great.

Most people: oh no, I have 50 tabs opened in the browser
Me: oh no I have 35 terminal emulators opened

@feoh rigid coverage requirements are not a good practice, since they drive coverage-oriented tests, not functionality-oriented tests. I would push back on this, if someone imposed it on me, and for a personal project there's no way I'd do it :)

The whole .git directory of my new wiki is ~6mb - less than a single load of my previous Tiddlywiki (ignoring compression). But Git is fairly efficient and sends only required data over the wire, so sync is pretty fast.

Hot take: every complex CLI program should support extensions like git does.

„Community-Maintained Documentation for the Discord API” why the fuck people are spending their time on unpaid labor for a shitty company's proprietary product is beyond me 🤷‍♂️

Fish 3.4.0 supports $() command substitution. More copy paste for me. Less excuses for people who still use bash 😜

A nice use case for Go 1.18 generics - a router that is generic over handler and request type.
