dear every cat,
if you get your claw caught in something, don't panic and pull. just meow and a human will come and help you
@Taweret i've actually managed to teach my cat this! mind you, she's 19 and barely behaves like a cat to begin with, but i can sometimes catch her when she's stuck and unhook her without the panic 
@Taweret i wish i could meaningfully communicate to my cat that her claws are hook-shaped and pulling her paw directly away from the thing will never work as well as lifting her paw up first
