@Taweret Right into the deep end we go!

I'd been wondering if you'd suggest this one. I shouldn't have doubted you.

@Taweret Gah want to join but time zones

D:

Will enjoy seeing the posts when I wake up though

@Taweret *sees that we'll be watching the star wars holiday special* aw shit here we go again

@Taweret i honestly don't remember much about that movie beyond the cooking segment, the singing segment and the fact that chewbacca has children

@Taweret and they celebrate some kind of nature-related holiday; maybe it was earth day?

@Taweret wow i couldn't even watch that while stoned off my ass

@Taweret Right on!

Until then

Goodnight, friend,

Goodnight...but not goodbye!

@Taweret my Saturday plans feel through so I maybe able to celebrate Life Day!

@Taweret I am anticipating and dreading this, in equal measure.

@erosdiscordia @Taweret I remember finding out when this show was going to be on, and had requested exclusive access to the television so I could watch it when it was on. Mom even let me have dinner on a tray in the living room. Although I was somewhere before kindergarten and did not have the vocabulary the impression I had can now be translated as "what in the actual FUCK was that?"

It's literally the first really shitty dumb piece of mass media that even a toddler could recognize as a piece of shit.

I can't wait to watch it again.

@docskrzyk πŸ˜‚β€‹

I'm convinced things like this are what's wrong with Gen X.

@Taweret

@erosdiscordia @Taweret I'm pretty sure "raised by boomers" is the true root cause, but that's a whole different discussion.

@docskrzyk @erosdiscordia @Taweret Stop updating this shit every few decades. I'm still blaming rock'n'roll for everything, and am tentatively hating video games for ruining something or other. It'll take me a while longer to see Gen X as a problem. But when I do, I'm pretty sure flannel will play a role.

@jens @erosdiscordia @Taweret And pudding pops.

Oh, and constantly being concerned that a nuclear war was going to break out.

But mostly pudding pops.

@docskrzyk @jens @erosdiscordia @Taweret

Little known fact: Pudding Pops were designed to survive the nuclear bombs.

It was on the same Mythbusters episode where they reenacted the grassy knoll shooting and proved that Secret Service dog "Lassie" shot Kennedy.

If they hadn't also decrypted "Lost In Space," they might let that episode out of the Black Vault.

No, Gen X is fine, why do you ask? :flan_eyes_narrowed: :flan_worried:

@thegibson You better watch out, or I'll tell everyone those are your special Fed Shoes. @docskrzyk @Taweret
