@benhamill I think as long as we're talking about superpowers that don't exist (YET), we can also assume that proper flight would be fairly effortless. If I were designing a superpower, I'd make them as easy as possible.

@Talyaa Fair. Then flight's the runner up after mind reading. Mind reading just seems so effective for dealing with corrupt, shitty politicians and the like.

@Talyaa for the arm, I'd much rather go organic. Oh sure there's times when having a go-go-gadget fingertip screwdriver would be handy, but not nearly as cuddly and prone to inadvertent activation (”what the hell happened to your nose?!?"). even the lasers can be biologic (see http://www.nature.com/nphoton/journal/v5/n7/full/nphoton.2011.99.html) so I'll settle for just being a monstrous abomination of physiology (but a friendly one).
