Broadchurch is way more sinister than I'd anticipated.

@jason i couldn't get through the first episode. It's supposed to be such a good show, too, so I was bummed.

@Talyaa I'm starting the third episode now. I can see why people would move on from it, whether it's too slow, too dark, or too scary. I really like it for the actors. I hope they make it more distinct from The Killing, whose story it's a lot like right now, or a straighter Twin Peaks.

@jason I love David Tennant but I keep seeing him as Doctor Who, so that will take adjustment. And I kept thinking the dead kid was MY kid, which made it heart wrenching. I liked the slow pace though.
