I just found out what the ending to Far Cry 5 was.

I expected the creators to try and say nothing or just throw in a twist to feel impactful, but I didn't expect the ending to just be fucked up.

It wanted to try and do the "violence" twist but ended up entirely glossing over terrorism and human rights atrocities, characterising the cult as an entity that was """peacefully minding its own business""" until you came along.

@z66is Ive heard they're different in some key areas to the TV series, and since the chance of it being picked up by Netflix or someone else is low I may just have to pick them up :)

I just finished Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency Season 2 and I'm pretty crushed that BBC America cancelled it. It's such a uniquely quirky and well made show 🙃

@qwertystop I don't know the specifics, only that Telegram is using Amazon AWS servers to ensure the service is still available in Russia. I'd assume they may also be doing some other shenanigans on the side.

As far as i'm aware, they haven't been able to successfully block it as of yet.

@arensb This has nothing to do with Russian sanctions for the record - Russia decided to block Telegram as it refused to hand over encryption keys for it's service.

If you live in Russia and use Telegram btw, it's extremely important that you keep the app installed even if the Russian government do somehow find a way to block it.

The app may be pulled from stores in the region soon, and even with the block Telegram will be able to send you service status updates and keep you informed on what's happening.

This is a really good article I got sent on why blockchain technology both fails in it's promise as well as how it fails in the philosophy it inherently expresses.

I probably should have posted this earlier, I made a new Telegram game (t.me/KingpinRouletteBot), which is a hidden role game based on the excellent board game Mafia De Cuba.

I'll be making at least one more game based on pre-existing board games this month on Telegram.
