I just found out what the ending to Far Cry 5 was.

I expected the creators to try and say nothing or just throw in a twist to feel impactful, but I didn't expect the ending to just be fucked up.

It wanted to try and do the "violence" twist but ended up entirely glossing over terrorism and human rights atrocities, characterising the cult as an entity that was """peacefully minding its own business""" until you came along.
