I want to work with the best people at making shit, I want architects, engineers, builders, software designers, hardware designers, economists, policy planners, urban designers, farmers and geographers working towards building radical new structures that empower communities to work in their own best interests.

Socialism for me is about getting together and creating the best environment for humans. It is certainly not about imposing the will of a vanguard on them, it's not about control. I leave it to the people to decide how they function in their environment because I believe given the tools we will function in our best interest. It's about making that possible again.

She would have also negatively impacted workers rights just like every so called progressive since the New Deal (which arguably was a half measure that destroyed the strength of Unions without satisfactory long term reform). That being said I get where you're coming from, only that the UN must be maintained if the rest of the current climate it maintained and Muslim and immigrant workers deserve the same consideration as all workers

Like I'm trans, this bathroom nonsense effects me and upsets me but I see that this is a distraction when the material conditions of the working class (including most trans people) is more unjust and that the interests of the preservation of these conditions created the bathroom issue anyway. So I choose to focus on that. Rather than the never ending efforts by the establishment to divide and conquer

I know we see a movement like BLM and we want to support it because we see that the black persons carried unjust weight in our society and it's important that we do but it is also important that our actual efforts do not focus on identity but rather on the material conditions of the working class.

The left must distance ourselves from the 'progressive' agenda in the popular imagination and we must put our efforts into constructive projects that benefit the working class directly and in the present. We are being destroyed.
