I know politics are super important in the world today, but tbh I really needed a space where I could talk about other things to distract myself.
At the same time, when I do that on birdsite I start to feel like I'm ignoring important things and start worrying what people will think of me.
It's too much stress for me! So this is a really cool alternative.
@seven5three I feel this so hard. I'm absolutely worn out by politics to the point that I don't feel like I am doing much but boosting and documenting horrors, but every time I take a break off the birdcage, I come back feeling more capable.
