It's amazing what happens when you entirely delete your FB account and 4 years later only add people who are ACTUALLY your friends.
I'm having a lovely conversation about anarchism and stateless communism tonight... on FACEBOOK.
@SuzanEraslan Don't lie. That's impossible...isn't it? Maybe I should do a massive Facebook culling to see if I can replicate your results.
@ink_slinger I had >5k "friends" when I left the first time and I couldn't cull-- in 2012, there were was no batch delete and it took hours just to drop the most egregious. Now I have 368 and I like all of them.
@SuzanEraslan There's a batch delete now?!
@ink_slinger I have no idea. I don't need it.
@SuzanEraslan I tried that method once but it didn't work out as well as it has for you. I just ended up deleting the whole thing twice. That is one thing I don't miss.
@spridlewv Did you wait 4 years? I think the trick is to wait an entire American presidential election cycle.
@SuzanEraslan Oh, I probably didn't wait quite that long. I'm glad its working for you though!
@spridlewv Me, too. Also, I'm BRUTAL about deleting people, now. I don't feel like I owe anyone my friendship just because we've known each other.
@SuzanEraslan Thats awesome. And definitely the healthy way to do it. I probably wasn't willing to be br
@SuzanEraslan ...to be brutal enough.
@SuzanEraslan 😮 that's actually shocking
