I refuse to get over the fact that you could be lucky enough to live at this intersection in Manhattan in a beautiful, historic neighborhood that looks like the set of the Great Gatsby.

@melissasage The secret is out-- it's definitely more expensive than it was when I lived there several years ago (of course, depending on *where* in Inwood you live). It's not that far from Midtown, though, but if you have most of your friends in Brooklyn (which, who doesn't these days, ugh), it's waaaay too far.
@melissasage True story, the summer I lived there, my roommate and I took the train from Dykman to Far Rockaway, and the whole way there I kept saying that on the way back I was going to take the train one stop further so I could ride the whole A train. Then after hours in the sun and several beers, I forgot and got off at Dykman and remembered the second the doors closed behind me.
@SuzanEraslan lmao! 207 isn't even that far from dyckman, tbh. i've done the whole A train and it is... well, tedious bc it's like three hours from terminus to terminus
@SuzanEraslan i lived there for a bit when i was going to Fordham- which is one of the few places it's actually convenient to!
And i had a lot of friends in Harlem so it worked out :p but summer trips to Reis Beach involved going along the *entire* A train, so..
