After reading Tracks, a book about a woman walking across half of Australia with her camels, I'm really curious to see some of these creatures up close. (Camels.) I'm going to head to the local zoo and see if they've got any.
@jason Camels are evolution's greatest triumph. I've never heard of an animal more perfectly matched to its environment.
@SuzanEraslan I now realize that more than ever after reading Tracks. I highly recommend it. It seems like one you'd appreciate, which is basically a guess on my part. I'd like to hear if you do read it, though.
No camels today, but I did see my favorite, a Siberian tiger 😃
