Today's : Krigler 14. Originally formulated as a men's fragrance, it was well loved by Marlene Dietrich and so became the brand's first unisex fragrance, well before anyone was making such a thing. It's a fougère but replaces the bright, bitter bergamot with tannic black tea in the top that is echoed by the leather in the base, and the traditional sharp, green vetiver is supplanted by a warm sandalwood. In between is a heady, enveloping lavender enriched by tonka bean.
