Logged out of the birdcage on my desktop for the first time in years. Deleted it from my phone. Thought about contacting people to let them know I was moving over here, but I don't like being that final about -- I just don't want to look at it anymore.
@Areya I'm still keeping my account -- after 10 years, I don't want to delete it or anything, but it's just nothing but people screaming about politics and sarcastically quote-RTing their harassers, and I frankly just like you all better.
@SuzanEraslan I wish I had the self-control to do the same haha. Occasionally I'll take a peek over there and then my blood pressure goes up and I have to log off
@Areya I noticed that last night, after barely looking at it all day, was the first time in months that I've gone to bed not feeling hopeless and awful. Not a coincidence.
