Newest member of Stonekettle Station.
Sweetie. She's a border collie and shepherd mix, collie shape and size, shepherd markings.
She's a rescue from the local shelter. About a year old. Full of energy and enthusiasm. Sweet and friendly, incredibly affectionate.
I just spend an hour with her. I can't pick her up until next Wednesday. It's killing me.

@timothious Oh yes. I've been visiting her every day to play and get her used to me. We bonded pretty quick.

@Stonekettle I had a border collie mix. She was the smartest, most loving and most stubborn dog in the universe. I had to remind her I was "the big dog" now and then, but otherwise she was the best. Rescued is my favorite breed!

@Stonekettle Too cool. We have a GSD/Border Collie mix- she's now 3 and shows no sign of slowing down. Sweet, smart, attached, and runs like a demon. Fun.
The one ear up and one flopped eases the Border Collie intensity a bit.

@Stonekettle She is beautiful. One year old is a good age. We got our male Border Collie, Jolt, at about a year old. At that age, they are coming into their own, still quite malleable, but no puppy drama. Border Collie and Shepherd sounds like a wonderful mix. Congratulations!
