On a serious note, these two guys belly up to the bar here in Wichita, KS, where I ended up tonight, and the guy on the right leans forward and squints his eyes and asks, "What's a Samuel Adams?" Ok, so maybe he's just joking I figured. But then the bartender, a sweet young gal answered, "Its like an IPA". Just before I was about to spit out my beer in disbelief, he makes a confused face and says, "I tell you what, I'll just get the Lite." San Diego this is definitely not.

I just read that in Arkansas a baby boy was born without eyelids, so doctors were able to make eyelids from his foreskin. Except now he's a little cockeyed.

When I was a kid I tried to eat a clock, but I found it too time consuming.

I am perplexed as to why more people don't eat carrots, but I am sure there is a root cause.

Never trust atoms. They make up everything.

At one time I had a job crushing Coca-Cola cans. It was soda pressing.

Tonight's orgy is cancelled, Becky has diarrhea.

I agree with "fairness" when it comes to paying your fair share of taxes. But it's defining "fair" that most of us disagree. I think of "fair" as being a balance between how much work a citizen puts into creating his own wealth, versus how much he benefited from being a citizen of his country. I am a profitable business owner and pay far more in taxes than what I take from government. Compare that to an unemployed person who takes far more from government, and pays very little of it back.

I just now realized that is pretty much the modern day incarnation of the Bulletin Board Systems of the 1980s and 90s. Anyone remember ? It was the most popular BBS software in that time. Any admin could host FidoNet on their server and it connect it to other FidoNet servers. Hence someone could join a FidoNet "instance" of their choosing and be connected to numerous other instances. Mastodon is like a BBS over an http protocol... en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/FidoNe

My wife is trying her hand at becoming a travel vlogger. She put up her first installment of our stay in Tucson. Note that her friend created the theme music: youtube.com/watch?v=KVMV4fvHV9

So, when staying in Tucson, AZ, avoid staying at Studio 6 hotel (a subsidiary of Motel 6). Terribly noisy, screaming kids, and fighting teens. Dog owners don't pick up after their dogs. And it seems the hotel staff doesn't care enough to keep the kids quiet. My video of the madness: youtube.com/watch?v=3msZwxS94Y

Do you realize that if two fitness centers were located next door to each other, they would be called Jim Nabors?

Did you know that Google saves a recording of your Android voice commands and speech-to-text? You can listen to them all here (and delete them)... myactivity.google.com/myactivi

As someone who deals with a high level of anxiety and PTSD, I couldn't help noticing a trending hashtag on birdsite, . However upon closer inspection it turned out to be an advertisement for underarm deodorant.

Just in anyone is interested, I write a blog about my life as a vagabond. I recently bought a toy hauler RV (I'm now heading to Indiana to pick it up) so that I have a place to live instead of tent camping or hoteling. Anyway, my latest blog entry is about adjusting to tiny house life: motorcyclephilosophy.org/2017/

Last night I hooked up with Wallace Roberts (right), a fellow developer who lives in Casa Grande. I happened to be in Tucson the rest of this week, so we met half-way at a taco shop in Marana called, "Nico's". Wallace is a good guy, great sense of humor. That's his wife in the background. He rides a Yamaha FZ-07, while his wife rids a FZ-09. I'm without bike right now because I'm on my way to buy a toy hauler in Indiana. octodon.social/media/sDg7Mn3G0
