@starbreaker Valid thoughts. But do social movements begin with the masses? Seems like they always begin with a group that has a lot of money to spend on marketing, be it commercial, political, theological.

Is the "body-acceptance" movement just a marketing strategy for junk food companies?

Why is taking an Uber to the emergency room faster and cheaper than an ambulance?

Seems like safe sex is a misconception.

@Doppio LOL, I had a doctor tell me that sugar free Jello and Egg Beaters help expedite growth of keratin .

"You do you" is now the socially responsible way of saying, "Go fuck yourself".

I'm addicted to playing Clash of Clans. I'm on a clan populated by two other Americans and 47 Chinese. The Chinese players are not very good attackers, but they are consistent and always participate. I can't understand anything they type in clan chat (it's all Chinese characters). I wonder if China is like a "quantity versus quality" thing, where your culture can sustain itself if you do one of those two things really well.

@PermaLolly I've been a craft beer drinker for about a decade now. There are a lot of bourbon barrel aged beers on the market that are absolutely amazing if you're a bourbon guy.

@PermaLolly I have a plan to get a couple of deep cycle 6 volt batteries. I need a dual battery box too.

@sonicbooming I feel ya. So much anger in political talk, and news media loves to bait people with political shock headlines, and people share that stuff on social media. It's cyclical.

@PermaLolly The battery is another issue, I have only a single 12 volt. I'm gonna need a couple 6 volt deep cycles, maybe four. I'm figuring at least two 150 watt panels, maybe three. I'm seeing other boondockers around here with 6 to 10 panels.

I feel like such a noob because the other RVers in this BLM area all have solar panels, some as many as 10 panels. And me? I have none. Instead I'm running a gas generator about 6-8 hours a day just to keep my laptop and hotspot device going.

No doubt. She's now sleeping off her expended energy. I hope her dreams are filled with raspberry jelly and custard.

I left home with 3 donuts left in the box. I came back home to find the an empty box on the floor and my dog too tired to get up...

@brook Albuquerque has some good craft breweries, check out Marble Brewing in downtown.

Chase Bank's fraud service is actually pretty tough. However, it's made it challenging for me to buy a new laptop. First I had to order a new laptop from Dell, then call Chase Bank to approve the purchase. But, Chase keeps the existing order denied, and instead requires me to place a second order through Dell. I have only 24 hours to place that order. Then, the Dell will automatically delete the first order they figure out they can't get paid for it.

@pzmyers Technically, nothing is "non-GMO" because everything we grow/raise today has already been modified from what it was 100 years ago.
