So today, I drilled a hole through the wheel well of my RV, so that I could run a propane hose from an outside tank into my rig, and connect it to a portable heater. The wheel well is aluminum. I lined the hole with a rubber grommet. I considered @MightyBigCar 's advice to just open a window screen slightly to let the hose out, but doing this use up a lot of hose length in going up the window and down the other side. The set up I did here gives more use of hose length.

OK, so I just got my new Dell XPS 15 laptop, and in the middle of installing Windows update, I hit my 15 gb limit. Now, shit is downloading at a crawl. octodon.social/media/r5ySlJuMS

Was able to get some peace and quiet this afternoon in the desert after a week of coding. octodon.social/media/KbUwEwQAF

Found a bunch of these still sitting on shelves at Bevmo in El Centro. Don't craft beer aficionados in the Imperial Valley know how awesome this stuff is? octodon.social/media/dHhthce4v

This is my home, a 28 foot toy hauler with pickup truck and two motorcycles. It's parked on BLM land about 7 miles east of Holtville, CA. I get awesome Verizon 4G coverage, and am able to do all my website development work. I can sit here for about 3 weeks until my black tank fills up, and then I pull the trailer into town to dump and refill with fresh water. I have a gas generator for electricity, and propane heater and cook top. octodon.social/media/E3Kxap9OS

An American style Belgian strong ale, fermented with ginger and mango. Named "3 Strikes", at Prison Hill Brewing Co., Yuma, AZ. It's absolutely wonderful. octodon.social/media/Ptl-5Bk8U

Was here today for the first time in my life... , . Currently holed in Effingham, IL for the night. But I couldn't believe what shit hole East St. Louis is.

When in Wichita, do as the witches do. Eat barbecue. (Hog Wild Pit Bar-B-Q, Whichita, KS).

On a serious note, these two guys belly up to the bar here in Wichita, KS, where I ended up tonight, and the guy on the right leans forward and squints his eyes and asks, "What's a Samuel Adams?" Ok, so maybe he's just joking I figured. But then the bartender, a sweet young gal answered, "Its like an IPA". Just before I was about to spit out my beer in disbelief, he makes a confused face and says, "I tell you what, I'll just get the Lite." San Diego this is definitely not.

Easter. Because everyone deserves a reset button... (4th Ave, Tucson, AZ)

Last night I hooked up with Wallace Roberts (right), a fellow developer who lives in Casa Grande. I happened to be in Tucson the rest of this week, so we met half-way at a taco shop in Marana called, "Nico's". Wallace is a good guy, great sense of humor. That's his wife in the background. He rides a Yamaha FZ-07, while his wife rids a FZ-09. I'm without bike right now because I'm on my way to buy a toy hauler in Indiana. octodon.social/media/sDg7Mn3G0

Just bought this Neiko 3/4 inch 300 ft lb torque wrench off of Amazon, after discovering that brick-n-mortar stores don't typically carry torque wrenches above 250 ft lbs, and a couple of bolts on my weight distribution hitch requires 260 ft lbs. Pretty much an online-only item. octodon.social/media/fhkljad_h

When traveling outside of California, one must start the day at Waffle House.

Barrio Brewing is one of favorite hangouts while visiting Tucson. Good beer, good food, and lively vibe in the older section of town. This Copperhead Pale Ale has a nice balance of hops and malt, good on a hot day.

Having a Habanero White IPA from Address Brewing at 1702 Pizza & Beer in Tucson, AZ. Good Habanero flavor, but only a light bit of heat.
