@Jadyjah The flu is pretty bad in the US too, I had a friend die from it a few days ago.
@Jadyjah Vaccinations this year are only 33% effective I'm told, namely because the particular strain of flu that's hitting the hardest was not included in the vaccine supply. It's really tough to figure out/predict which vaccines to produce.
@SteveJohnson unfortunately, I only received the trivalent flu vaccine... so I am at risk too. A reinoculation would certainly be advisable.

@SteveJohnson I am sorry to hear of the loss of your friend. fortunately, the flu hasn't arrived here yet. I've already been vaccinated. I hope the vaccine will be effective against this year's flu!
