So, turns out the marijuana business that contacted me 12 days ago for WebDev work had no intention of hiring me. They just wanted to hear what my prices were and how much work I'd do just to see if they're getting a good deal with their existing WebDev outfit. Sucks, because I try to be honest, fair and timely, and I get taken advantage of. Such is the life of an introvert web geek.

@SteveJohnson hell, try to invoice them like a $50 charge for "consultation services". Yknow, since they mislead you and had no intention of hiring you in the first place. You could threaten to submit a fraud claim against them if they don't.
