Two posts I have in mind: why XX and XY aren't the end of the story, and why local weather isn't always responding to climate change by warming.
@shanaqui I'd say respond to current news from a science standpoint. For example, come up with a list of ways to compare the recent MOAB dropping with analogies that lay people can relate to.
