This is a typically illuminating XKCD illustration, with a sobering gut punch that you know is coming, but still hits hard...
That said, what saves B7 is that the stories are pretty good. It's also, even now, unusual to see a crew that so openly bitches, moans and fights with each other.
Also, it's pretty rare to see this much beige and flares in a sci-fi show. :smile:
For some reason, I'm on a British sci-fi tip right now (well, it helps I'm British). Tracked down Blake's 7 on YouTube. And my god, when they say this show was cheap... they aren't kidding. Makes Doctor Who in the same period look like a blockbuster epic.
