Today has been a fair bit busier than I like my Saurdays. Here's to a quiet evening, filled with cheesy entertainment tv and maybe a bit of cake.*

I'm so glad that staying in is the new going out. I'm in fashion for once!

That being said, tonight will probably be taken up with catching up on tv and indulging in a little random snacking.🙂

Popping in over lunch on what is a *very* cold day.

All I feel like doing is wrapping up warm, grabbing a hot chocolate, and vegging out for a bit.🙂

Thank goodness for cocoa butter lip balm. This weather's not too good for my skin, and this has been a godsend.

(Trying to focus on something as simple as the state of my skin/lips is one of the ways I'm trying a bit of self-care.)

I've been rewatching old episodes of Merlin on SyFy (or whatever it is now), and I can't get over how Richard Wilson's character Gaius pronounces the word 'Sorcerer'.

It always sounds like 'Soss-erer' to me. Unfortunately, now I can't un-hear it.🙃

Cold, windy, wintery weather here, so that calls for a casserole.

Chicken casserole, I think, with lots of root veg and a jacket potato.

I've made myself hungry already.

Looks like it's going to be windy overnight here. I knew we'd got another named storm coming, but not this soon.

Evidently, I've not being paying attention to the weather reports lately.🍃

Today has been a bit odd. I'm not complaining, as it hasn't been a bad day exactly, but it's definitely been odder than usual.

I found an old folder of charcoal/pencil sketches from a while back, and was surprised at how not-terrible they were. Most were birds, although there were a few animals in there as well.

Here's the Snowy Owl, which is a bit of a cheat in how simple it was.
