Ah, I just realised! I think that a famous scene should pop up in the book I'm reading right now.

I'm teetotal, but this is such a memorable little scene, and Yang is such a sweetheart.๐Ÿ™‚

I found an old folder of charcoal/pencil sketches from a while back, and was surprised at how not-terrible they were. Most were birds, although there were a few animals in there as well.

Here's the Snowy Owl, which is a bit of a cheat in how simple it was.

I'd forgotten all about these.

It's been a while since I posted a , so... duck! ๐Ÿฆ†

Or rather, two ducks, but the joke doesn't work that well otherwise. I found this pic in one of my folders a while ago, and just remembered it now.

I think I'd better just try and get caught up at the weekend. Life is throwing a lot at me lately!

Here's a quick pic from the garden. I love the colours.๐Ÿ™‚

I love these flowers. They always bloom so late into the year, and they look gorgeous when sprinkled with dew. I managed to get a picture this morning, whilst I was out looking for dew-jewelled cobwebs to take a snap of. I couldn't resist the colours.๐ŸŒบ ๐Ÿ™‚

I'm away for now, but hopefully I'll be back on Monday. Until then, here's a few I've not long rediscovered in an old folder. Inktober was fun, but I think I prefer taking pictures. Take care, everyone.๐ŸŒผ

I had the time to put my final sketch together fairly early, so I'll post it now. I'm not a fan of Halloween (controversial, I know, but I have reasons) so I went with the alternate theme of TOOT.

It's been fun to challenge myself, but I've definitely found my limitations. Without further ado, here's my final entry.

My feet haven't really touched the floor today, but I managed to get my entry done. I used the theme of Balance, and so me being me I picked a stack of books balanced on top of each other.

Rightio, back to it.

And here's the second effort, the , with the theme of Reflection. This is an old locket of mine, shot on a glass table.

I'm trying something new today, because whilst I've got a (very) rough sketch for , I've got a photo I like as well - both using the theme of Reflection.

So I'll post both, one after the other. First up is the Inktober effort, a mirror. octodon.social/media/XXY2MPOE4

Just popping in to post my entry for today. No Inktober today: since I've been using the Artober themes I wanted to stick with them, and I found a that summed up today's theme of Shimmer perfectly. A peacock's feather, in all its shimmery glory.

Today's entry is somewhat simple. I used the theme of Close and drew a pair of closed eyes. Either a blink or forty winks.๐Ÿ‘ octodon.social/media/i90DNBA1S

I took this yesterday of a rather confused clematis that has decided to bloom for the second time this year. The weather certainly has been odd lately.๐Ÿค” ๐Ÿ™‚

My pen kept blobbing, so I had to keep cleaning it but I managed to get my entry done. I used the theme of Flow, and what's better at going with the flow than a fish.๐ŸŸ octodon.social/media/7sA_eJ1xi

Today's entry for (using the theme of Ground) is as tenuous an interpretation as I thought it might be. It's a very quick sketch as well. I opted for a windmill, where wheat goes to be ground up into flour. ๐Ÿ˜… octodon.social/media/nOF4DeZwL

Well, I was somehow able to get my entry done. I used the theme of Love, and the result was this pair of birds, acting all lovey-dovey.๐Ÿ•Š octodon.social/media/uPW7uFza2

A spring flower for a Sunday night. I took this a few years ago now, but the colours of this simple crocus always cheer me up. Even more so when I'm looking back through my albums when the weather is getting colder.
