I spent a bit longer than usual on my #Inktober (using #Artober themes) this morning, and I think it paid off. The theme in question was Calm, and after struggling to think of something for a long time I remembered the kingfisher. Messing around with some old #photos, I had no idea that I could keep some of the picture quality if I zoomed in a bit. Turned up some pretty good results, like this little insect here.

Drawing my cat Pippin for Inktober made me want to get some of the old photos out and keep them forever on my computer. I only have actual photos of him, but since I can't get to the scanner right now I've had to take pictures of those pictures instead. Please forgive the quality.🙏🏻

Another somewhat reflective #photo for Saturday evening. This is another that was taken years ago, in one of my favourite places to go walking in the countryside. When I was there last, it was a bright sunny day and swallows were skimming across the surface of the river.

Some very good advice yesterday has helped me with my #inktober and #Artober sketching, and subsequently I've been able to get something done fairly early.
