Rather than set myself a figure, I'm going to see how many #books I can read in a year. It'll be good research to see how much of a bookworm I am. I'll likely be sticking to #scifi and #fantasy, but there may be some #historicalfiction in there, too.
I'm beginning my 2018 #readingchallenge with something special - Patrick Rothfuss' The Wise Man's Fear. I was lucky enough to get this for Christmas, and I've been saving it until now.๐

@Zoonie Ooh, that's a good idea - I'll give it a try. Thanks for the tip!๐
@Starling You always mention some books interesting that makes me want to read, however I got a problem is: I'm kinda poor u.u (I don't blame you for that), but I remember I have pendants few books I haven't in 2017๐. At least I want to finish it and still reading.
Sounds foolish I read in English for practice, because I'm getting a way very back or something like that. Anyway, enjoy the lecture along with fantasy :).
@valdecast Thanks.๐ I'll admit that when I can't afford to buy books full price, I'll get them from charity shops or from the library, and then upgrade to a new copy when I can afford it.
And reading books in another language is an excellent way to learn. Good luck with it!๐
@Starling yeah, and I glad I learnt the basis of English during my childhood. Well - I want to let you enjoy your lectures ๐. See ya, I go to bed ๐.
@Starling
The Kingkiller chronicles... They are good. Happy reading!
@Starling try to make it an equal number of books by men and women. I have a rule at Xmas which is I always buy books by women who are alive (so they get royalties) as presents - knowing that everyone will get other books basically exclusively by men
