@SpaceRavioli The Thing (1982). The buildup and pacing of the movie is perfect imo, also I am a sucker for horror movies! :D

@SpaceRavioli One of them is Enchanted April. It's beautiful and funny and uplifting, sure, but what really makes it is that I saw it with my mom and sister, and then my mom got it for us on video. For a few years Mom and I would get the yen to watch it, so we'd escape our lives for a couple of hours and then would call each other to report that we'd seen it again. It became a way for us to leave our separate dreary marriages and pretend we were in Italy.
Favourite #movie, per @SpaceRavioli's question... probably Captain America: The Winter Soldier. I love the character of Steve Rogers, and his determination and dedication are clear here.
@SpaceRavioli Alien. The whole space feels so lived in that it feels like the xenomorph is invading your home, even though you've never lived in a spaceship.
@SpaceRavioli "Get Out" was one of my favorite movies. I could relate to a lot of what the lead actor (Chris) was going through in real life, even though, it was a horror movie.
