oh god rust is pulling a node and allows linking multiple versions of the same lib. One of my dependencies has an old version of glutin which has a bug in it. There doesn't seem to be a way to force the dependency to use a newer version of glutin. everything is horrible.

Garbage Collection was an idea in 1959. The first working implementation was Lisp.
It didn't really hit mainstream use until Java. In 1995. 30-ish years later.
when I first started working with computers a lot this thing would happen where I would get a bad headache if I stared at a computer screen for longer than an hour without taking a short break.
I kind of wish that still happened.
