Just read an excellent article by @alicegoldfuss@twitter.com on how to fight impostor syndrome, addressing completely different aspects: http://blog.alicegoldfuss.com/slapping-back-imposter-syndrome/
You can ask a question in different environments. It doesn't have to be in front of everyone, since everyone includes the toxic people. You can try approaching another developer directly. If they're one of the good ones, they will appreciate your contribution.

Les cons ça ose tout, c'est même à ça qu'on les reconnaît. #BernardBlier
On pourrait la citer tous les jours celle-ci, en la précédant d'un "au vu des récents événements"
I'm starting to think that JavaScript is just an elaborate practical joke gone horribly wrong:

“Boosting a toot “ sounds like a polite way of saying you’ve farted. As in “Great party, why are you all alone out here in the kitchen?” “Well, I came out here to boost a toot..” etc. ;)
#introduction Hello everyone. I'm an old one, and well, I'm not used to those kind of "social network" as they say. But, Mastodon seems different from what we've seen so far, so curiosity brought me there.
I'm going to work as a web developer soon, but don't call me geek : I'm not at all. I like books, beer, dogs, cats, playing and listening to music, and so much unremarkable things.
Can't wait to "toot" you all.
BTW, I'm French, so... Sorry for my english ;)
