@Siphonay I think GIMP is confusing to me because I'm used to the super simplistic controls of mspaint and what they do. So it's really less the UI is "bad" to me, and more that the concepts in real graphical manipulation are foreign to me, no matter what form they take.
@Mycroft oh there's definitely a learning curve, I experienced it myself
