Quick GIMP tutorial: how to detour a drawing on a solid background to make it transparent while keeping antialiasing pretty quickly
1. do a quick want selection of the background
2. invert the selection
3. shrink the selection to one pixel (or more if the borders are thicker, may be better to get good antialias)
4. invert the selection again
5. use the "color to alpha" option and select the background color
And voila!!
@catdad I just try and discover new gimp features as I try doing stuff and I find out this kind of techniques on my own tbh
(what do you mean by curving text?)
@catdad Uh I'd have no idea how to do that either haha
I don't consider it as artistic talent tho... I just.. Use a software, otherwise I can't draw or do any kind of design...
No need to apologize!!
@Siphonay making the text go around in a circle instead of a line. i have no artistic talent so im easily impressed by people that do. sorry
