@ctrlaltdog it's samsung's virtual assistant. Unfortunately it's not more useful than Google Assistant, and isn't available in French anyway

@noiob @Siphonay is that working again? Last time i heard about it, samsung tried to patch the workarounds for it.

@noiob yes I know but the way it does it is too dirty imo - bixby has to be enabled, then it detects when the bixby app is launched by the button, then interecpts it to do another action. This results into Bixby flashing into the screen for a split second, even when the screen is off, and idk I find that to be pretty annoying

@Siphonay yeah, idk what I would do. Incidentally, I just looked up ways to remap shortcuts on my phone so I now have a flashlight shortcut! :D

@noiob nevermind actually you can use it with bixby disabled if you grant it permissions with ADB! so that's great. I mapped a short press to play/pause, google assistant to a long press when the screen is on, flashlight when the screen is off, and track forward/backwards when the volume buttons are long-pressed!

I actually didn't see how to make bxActions work properly -- by granting it some permissions with adb.

Now it's more useful for me than its original purpose was.

Also I mapped long presses to the volume buttons to next or previous media
