Trump got elected because we liberals thought the world was some sort of moralistic fish bowl, where horrible people were somehow not going to vote for trump because of his racism, his xenophobia, his blatant appeals to nationalism, populism, and fascism.
Stop discounting those people.
Stop thinking that somehow the Democratic Party is some morally superior group.
Start actually working to make your party better, and start taking the other side of the aisle fucking seriously.
