@Inskora I honestly find stuff like this so anxiety inducing, Would it kill them to just be a bit more specific or give more information? Kinda feels like there are a load of invisible rules that no one bothers to explain :-p

@Auditoryprolif yeah for some people they defiantly don't think or self critique on ableism, but that kinda requires a prompt for some people?

Once I tell some pepole that the r word is a slur they do stop using it and try to think harder about what words they do use?

I'm very dyslexic so I often lack the ablist to use complex vocabulary, so I don't think this is an issue of a lack of vocabulary but people not knowing such words can be hurtful? Or being purposely cruel :-/

I'd v strongly prefer ppl don't use words like 'dumb' ect around me, I might say 'hey don't use that word'

But if you use the word 'retarded' then I'm unfollowing tbh?
