I'm looking at a job opportunity that would take me to #Greifswald, #Germany. I'm gay and my husband is black. The potential environment in eastern Germany worries us - what kind of experience can we expect?

@Saxatax It's been 6 years since I've been to Greifswald and it might have changed a bit, but as the students make a big part of the population it's a more progressive environment than other places in East Germany. And anyway, Pegida is a scary movement, but I don't think it is truly representative of most of the people you'd meet.
