@jonathansampson Well,, the Rabb.it test was a no go. The mic access was apparently not working, so I had to switch back to Chrome. Don't ask me why mic I have other than generic Chinese $15 Rip Off Off Amazon brand.

@Samizdata Thank you for the quick chat; glad to confirm that the Microphone issue was not too difficult to remedy. I may try to reach out to their developer team and inquire about how they pick "the best" input device.
@jonathansampson I have talked with their support staff before and they were pretty responsive.
