is there a way to know if the instance we're on hasn't been messed with? remember there's no such thing as free lunch
@nsqe yeah, I was thinking maybe having a way to create a list of verified instances that somehow prove they're not messing with the sauce code before deploying.
@Rineroth Yeah, I mean, there's a /degree/ of trust in open source, but that presumes that anyone's actually /checking/. And that doesn't say anything about whether or not the server host is scooping up data.

@nsqe yeah, as soon as I learn more about the project I'll propose some solutions, there's no perfect security but maybe we can add some trust to the instances
@Rineroth And of course instances have no privacy policies, so you have no way of even guessing what they're doing with your stuff.
