and don't start with "oh they just have to turn their life around!" That's a privilege of being a white cishet male or female. Try "turning your life around" if you happen to have dark skin and everyone thinks you're a criminal. ugh.

oh yes of course, "<insert bad thing> is totally caused by <popular new media> and all the youngins are doing it, our generation is doomed!"

Our world's problems are totally not caused by our economic reality, the fact that many live in poverty because they have no other options, most of the time because they were born into it and have no choice. What do you do if you can't afford education, health care or even essentials? What do you do if you have family to feed?

@starbreaker I rarely have time to really dig into a game anymore, so I occasionally watch streams instead. Also there are games I don't want to play, but enjoy watching others play.

@Riley I can totally understand someone being more interested and fascinated by things I'm not. I can't understand why people would get into programming if they are not interested in it. Money?

@starbreaker hehe yeah it's a niche. Mostly I find their voices relaxing and not as obnoxious as other yters. :)

@starbreaker yeah noticed that too recently. The Super Beard Bros. YT Channel was talking about that a bit during their playthrough.

@plsburydoughboy personally I think there is a lot of good in the US, we are just in the process of changing fundamentally and that will take a while and cause some painful things to happen.

Like in CIV when you change your government form. :D

@mijo wow! cool. I've only been to San Diego once, and only half a day. :D (I can't stand too much heat or sun and love rain, so Seattle is perfect for me. :D )
