So, it seems like it is possible to have multiple people with the same username, but attached to different instances. Though those people can be federated into one public timeline.
Is that accurate? Like... I could make another account on a different instance with the same username?
@Rasgueado that's my impression. it's like email: you can be bob@gmail.com and I can be bob@yahoo.com. The host is part of specifying who you're referring to -- username alone isn't enough.
@emallson Ok... that's cool, I'm into that. I just wanted to make sure I was following that correctly from the user guide. =)
