The gameplay of first person shooters usually comes down to players trying to center their screens on other players' heads. All these games consist of thousands of people alone at home in front of their computers, flailing the mouse and keyboard to make eye contact with each other.

@acrata It's actually 3 sets of double doors, so 6 doors total. Don't bother looking for pictures though. They apparently haven't been installed yet. Custom fiberglass doors and frames with glass transoms to the corner balcony. They sound lovely.

The shoebill would only bring new users as an insurance policy in case there was anything wrong with the old users, but wouldn't do anything for them. That is the nature of shoebills.

@troubleMoney @gargron @Vann In the second episode of the BBC nature documentary series Africa (accessible on Netflix in the US) there is a segment beginning about 15 minutes in on shoebills. In that segment the older of two newly hatched shoebills bullies the younger until the parents agree it would be best just to let the younger chick starve to death. Don't keep watching either, because it's almost immediately followed by footage of an elephant calf dying of thirst.

There couldn't be a better word for what one does with a job application than 'submit'. It feels like such an act of submission every time.
