My housemates and I are growing a garden! We started with wooden boards and built a planter box, filled it with dirt, and planted seeds. Today we found a bunch of little sugar snap pea seedlings (roped off section closest in the picture)!

@Radixsort Great job! I've got a pretty hefty garden of my own here. I grow carrots, tomatoes, colroby, lettuce, cabbage, onions etc. I've also got 2 apple trees, 2 cherry trees, a plum tree, a row of raspberry bushes, and a grape arbor. It's a lot of work to maintain but well worth the effort.
@francis wow that sounds awesome! Any tips for an absolute beginner? We are growing carrots, peas, and tomatoes :)
@Radixsort The best advice I can give you is to water consistently everyday, for about 30 minutes. Or if you use a watering can, 2 full gallons of water per 5 square feet. And if you are serious about doing this long term, spade your garden at least once a year.
