@troubleMoney Yeah, this is a project about UX, not about protocols. It provides the familiar interface of a chat client, while encrypting the message bodies behind the scenes and quietly using protocols that already exist. I'm not entirely convinced this particular combination is a good idea, but gosh I love that somebody tried it!
@jamey I would be wondering about identity verificaton et al. I know many corporations and universities are doing smime and gpg for signing.
Phishing is so big now I would be concerned this would get more people "hooked"
@PresGas Good point, and a fair concern! I'm also concerned that, like all email, encryption can only protect the message body and not the metadata.
