Controversial pop culture opinion Show more
so i'm thinking of moving to a new twitch acct since my current, old one has a legacy setting that prevents it from being listed in public directories (like under game pages), which is really good for privacy but bad for attracting rando viewers who might like my content
if you disable it you can never turn it on again, so i'm hesitant to disable it
i could theoretically, laboriously download current vids and upload at new channel, fixing their metadata. then i'd have a public-facing channel and a private-ish one to fall back to
all this potential hassle because i'm afraid of possible future harassment from the public
it's stupid

Build something to offend notch eh?
How about a voxel engine not written in shitty Java with infinite loops for polling?

as they knead our bruised bodies, they remind us of emotional states long gone yet somehow still present as an all-encompassing resonance to everything we feel here and now
Doing my part to kill twitter
Workout schedule:
Mon: heavy upper (bench)
Tues: heavy lower (deadlift)
Thurs: upper (OHP)
Fri: lower (squat)
Upper days finish with strongman stuff (loaded carries, etc), lowers finish with rucks. Friday rucks can be longer/heavier due to the extra rest days til the next workout.
It's a nice schedule, flexible and adaptable to a lot of different regimens.
Here's something most people might not know about:
In today's urban planning in most of the USA and Europe, there is a huge focus put on increasing the average citizen's 'calories burned'. This is one of the paradigms for making a healthy city: working walking or biking in to the daily habits of the citizens.
On one hand, this paradigms does contributing to building more walkable and bikable cities. But to me it's ablist and also anti fat... And, for a person in an electric wheelchair: calories burned is actually relating to battery power needed. For people with mobility issues, decreasing the calories needed to navigate is actually healthier.
http://www.aworkoutroutine.com/ this is the best no-bullshit guide to setting up a workout routine. Literally, you will absolutely not go wrong following it, no matter your level of ability or stage of training.
If that's not the last straw, I don't know what is. Twitter suspending you for telling a literal nazi account they are "poo poo heads"?
@Pookleblinky Twitter already can filter out nazis perfectly well. It would literally take a few lines of code to give that filter to everyone. It doesn't, because that would kill their business model.
Did you know that twitter literally has an is_nazi attribute, withheld_in_countries indicates whether the tweet contains nazi content that it literally illegal in Germany and France.
I don't masto often enough, ugh
I have a blog now: https://pookleblinky.github.io/index.html

The Shell egg in Chicken does a lot of what I am looking for. Short commands, nice syntax, can output as a string of normal bash, etc.
You know what fad I'm glad is over btw?
dasKeyboard.
Holy fuck half the people in my circles would NOT STOP FUCKING TALKING ABOUT THEM FOR LIKE 2 YEARS.
Then their dasKeyboards broke and they quit talking about them.
