I'm doing my part to #killtwitter by using it as little as possible for the 3rd quarter, from today til October 1.
If only a few others spend just a bit less time there, and more time spent anywhere else, for just a few months, the network effects will hasten the death spiral into sideways nazi florps.
Not a big dramatic change, no "imma uninstall this, go cold turkey"
Just, a slight limit on its use. Which, if enough non-nazis do, will cause it to desperately issue update after awful update to appeal to its increasing demographic: nazis who love circles and sideways florps.

I recently transitioned to only using Twitter when I'm at my desk. It still gets quite a bit of usage but it doesn't have as much of an addiction pull when it's not on my phone in mornings and at nights.
For me there's a treasure Trove of data on there that I still can't access any other way except through search. For example I just looked up your tweetstorm on food/history/culture interplay.

For myself, I switched twitter to a swipe, so it takes just a bit more effort to open instead of Subway Tooter.
