@erikfriesen @Steel_Virgin @eBrnd Are you getting any error messages after entering the instance name?

@chriseppstein Or tribal warfare between instances. It could go either way at this point 😀

Anyone been playing ? I'm thinking it's some of Ron Gilbert's best games, and it looks fantastic!

@erikfriesen @Steel_Virgin @Steel_Virgin It authenticated pretty easily for me, maybe you got caught in some server load issues?

@gschueler I'm... not sure the terminology is all going to stick.

@bottitytto I've had one of our overseas operations folks send me text messages saying "Log out of the server and go to bed, I've got enough problems right now." :grinning:

@bottitytto Hah, I'm guessing there's a story there!

Phancypants boosted

actually why are Mastodon instances not called herds

I missed the last session, and my DM sent me an email saying "Oh, and your character got a level while you were away last month so make sure to update the character sheet."

My first reaction was "Why?! WHAT DID HE DO?!"

@bottitytto Write more code!

...maybe review it in the morning before you commit though.

I love making plans, because then I know exactly what's not getting done that day.

Can anyone explain why running a would split a recovery partition in 2, and put each half on the opposite end of the disk?

It's happens pre-image too, so it's not clonezilla cutting it in half. UEFI shows 2 Windows Boot Managers as well, and... both seem to work?

The service desk guy asked me to look at it this morning, so now I've got pride on the line.

.

@munin Dang it, another animal that's getting added to my "Too smart to eat" list.

At this rate I'm going to be down to chickens and krill by fall.

@sungo A choice would be the best option. It would cut down on the amount of notification spam that popular tweeters have.

Getting tagged in a reply slap-fight is a special kind of hell people are trying to escape

@ross I'm mostly network security and sysadmin. I spend most of my days shouting at coworkers "WHY AREN'T YOU ENCRYPTING THAT?!" and then getting mad I can't inspect all their packets.

Mastadon account achieved! Time to start tracking down all the and types!
