Put a little catnip into the bird toy and now the cat's being an asshole about everything. Chasing me around, meowing, jumping on me to try to steal my cereal, dumping his water bowl. Catnip: not even once.
@stillinhere I understand that animals have differing reactions, dependent on whether the catnip is dried (most common) or fresh.
Never fear that you've got a product on the shelf that you can't use, however. Dried catnip makes a relaxing herbal tea for most people.
