I think the main secret of owning a fountain pen is realizing that you have to use it daily or it will dry out. So you have a built-in reason to use your fountain pen.
This doesn't seem like a problem to me.
@craigmaloney And never, ever, hand it to someone who has never used one (or really anyone. My pen is mine). Unless you like buying new fountain pens.
