@ink_slinger Yes. Not Icelandic, but our good friends are. We met them in the US and English is fairly common there, though they prefer Icelandic with those who speak it. Go for it!

The video is five minutes and thirty seconds long, and by minute five, I was crying. I'm not exaggerating. It's so horrifying and amazing, and I'm completely terrified of the person who made this.
I really wish there was a #mastodon plugin that could on-the-fly translate toots of a different language, allowing me to switch between "original" and "translated".

Fair point... though one is an example of national/racial profiling and the other an example of idealogical profiling.

I think people hope to see self selection processes guide people into groupings on instances that can be easily profiled and toggled.
