So... if participation ratios in tech was seriously skewed towards CIS white men when nobody knew what programming was... what happens now that everybody knows what tech is and everybody also "knows" that tech is hostile to women and minorities?

How do we talk about the problems without scaring away the people we want to include?

@HerraBRE I'm into that in a serious way! It boils down to talking. Let me explain: Working on this as a passion project and small side hustle for a couple of years now. My findings: face-to-face communication as much as possible, co ed classes where lead instructor takes a definite stance on inclusivity, frank discussions of the workplace and their experiences in school, role-playing situations intermingled with hard content all == helpful.
