Thinking of updating to the latest Fedora, should I really do this during the work day when I have a s#it tonne of work to do?
@MightyBigCar no data cap at home, but it is my dev machine and I am worried that some things won’t work after :p
@NeuroWinter so the VM came up ok, though it took forever on the install boot. Things do not appear borked, but we'll see what changed after I re-apply the production config this afternoon.
Maybe you want to find a sacrificial laptop to try it out on, rather than your dev machine.
@MightyBigCar Thats good, Yeah I think I will take a back up of my machine and try this weekend when I have some down time :)
@NeuroWinter I'm in the process of doing a command line update on a VM. Will let you know how it turns out. It did pull down a truckload of data, so if you're under a data cap at home, you might want to do it at work.
